How do I plan my trips?

Well, I spend a lot of time thinking every place combination possible until I come up with something that works for me.

Usually my planning style gives everyone (except me) a headache, so rather than show you every step involved I’ll just share the final most Official Plan.

Legend For Non-Henry’s

This seems to help my friends navigate all the color coding.

  • Cyan – hyperlinks
  • Red – hotel
  • Green – travel distances / times
  • Purple – up for debate / changing of places (ex. I want to go somewhere, but I’m not sure I’ll have enough time)
  • Orange – time zone (no more mistakes!!)
  • Blue – friend edits
  • Redacted – important information that is too personal
  • Comic Sans MS – annotations for blog readers
  • Google Timeline Pictures – A mostly accurate representation of the drive. Sometimes if I lose gps/cell connection Google “guesses” what my location is.
