On October 9, (2018) just after starting the fall season at Philmont I went down to Albuquerque to the annual Balloon Festival. It was the first time I went and on this occasion I brought my Dad’s old Canon camera. I was going to try my hand at the complex art of photography!
I took a different route from Albuquerque, NM back to Philmont Scout Ranch. It was sweet! đŸ˜‰
After visiting Oak Ridge, Los Alamos, and Hanford Reach I finally had the opportunity to see the Trinity Site! Manhattan Project National Historic Park complete!
Once again my trip to central Colorado was canceled so I set my sights on a Plan B: Southwestern Colorado and Utah.
